FramePress is a video compression and format conversion tool that runs on your Mac. We understand that video files can be sensitive, so our first principle is simple: your videos belong to you. We never see them, and we never collect them.

2. Information We Collect

Video content (not collected). All compression and conversion happens locally on your computer. Video files are never uploaded to any server or sent to us. Finished videos exist only where you choose to save them.

App data (stored locally only). Settings and processing history are stored on your Mac so your workflow is convenient (for example, reviewing past jobs in History). This data is never uploaded or synced to us.

Purchase information (via Creem). This app is sold through Creem. When you make a purchase, Creem processes the payment and collects the information required to complete the transaction (such as your email address and payment details). We only receive the information Creem provides that is necessary to deliver the software and provide support (for example, your email address). 3. What We Don't Do

• No accounts, no forced sign-in
• No analytics, no behavioral tracking, no usage statistics
• No advertising, no third-party tracking
• We never read or upload your videos, images, or other personal files

4. Third-Party Services

We do not share your information with any third party except in the following cases:

• Creem: processes purchases and payments—only the information necessary for the transaction;
• Apple: the app passes Apple's notarization to ensure system security. This process is handled automatically by macOS and does not involve your personal data.

5. Data Security and Retention

We hold almost no personal data about you. Your local data is protected by macOS system security; contact information we receive from Creem is used only for delivery and support, never beyond what is necessary. If you would like it deleted, contact us at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for general adult users. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified through the contact information you provided at purchase (if applicable).
