Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FramePress, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not download, install, or use the software.

2. License Grant

Upon payment of $7 (one-time purchase price), you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use FramePress for personal and commercial purposes. You may install and use the software on Mac devices that you own.

This license takes effect immediately after purchase with no renewal or subscription fees. Future updates within the 1.x version line are included in this purchase at no additional cost.

3. Purchase and Payment

Purchases are processed through Creem, which accepts major international credit and debit cards. Payment success is determined by Creem's confirmation. After payment, you will receive download instructions through the contact information you provided.

4. Refund Policy

Within 14 days of purchase, if the software does not meet your needs, you may request a full refund for any reason. Contact us at hi@colinx.me to process the refund.

5. Usage Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, crack, or attempt to derive the source code of the software;
• Remove or tamper with copyright notices, license information, or security mechanisms in the software;
• Resell, redistribute, or provide the software installer or license information to third parties;
• Use the software for any purpose that violates applicable laws or infringes the rights of others.

6. Intellectual Property

The FramePress name, icon, interface, and source code are owned by the author. Third-party open-source components bundled with the software (such as HandBrake, FFmpeg, x264, and x265) belong to their respective owners and are distributed under their respective open-source licenses. The full license texts are included in the Licenses directory within the software package.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no promises about the results of running the software in any particular environment (including, but not limited to, the quality, size, and compatibility of output files).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the software, including but not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or business interruption. Please back up important files before using the software.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

The interpretation and resolution of disputes under these terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
